The Compassionate Curiosity Approach is a 1 on 1 therapeutic process that uses physical techniques and exercises to move stagnant and stuck energy within the body. This facilitates welcoming the present moment, feeling the truth and validity of our inner experience, and liberates our life force energy. By attuning to our inner self we get in touch with our real needs and heart’s intuitive guidance.
Nature's agenda for us is to grow up to be self regulated, self connected, socially responsible beings. To realize our potential we need an environment where we feel safe and held to feel and express ourselves authentically. Where all our insecurities, discomfort and limiting beliefs we hold that undermine our self esteem and sense of self can be brought to the surface.
Compassionate curiosity is what allows us to "stay" and feel these uncomfortable feelings without needing to check out or disassociate. (fight, flight, freeze response) Instead we get curious and welcome whatever arises in us and inquire whether these early childhood coping mechanisms, survival strategies, and limiting core beliefs are still serving us. Our freedom lies in becoming aware of these patterns and making a new choice.

When we were young many of us got the message that it wasn't "OK" to express uncomfortable emotions like anger and sadness, etc. So we learned to repress them in order to stay in connection with our caregivers. By doing this we abandoned our authentic self and repressed the emotions which have stayed stuck in our body which leads to dis-ease. Through compassionate curiosity, we bring the light of consciousness to all our abandoned parts and reconnect with our authentic self.
